Education shaped around every child

At Homebrook Woods, we believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood and valued. Rather than expecting children to adapt to a traditional school environment, we have intentionally designed every aspect of our provision around the individual child. Our home-inspired setting, therapeutic approach and specialist understanding of autism and communication needs enable children to develop confidence, emotional regulation, independence and a positive relationship with learning. We know that successful education begins with strong relationships. By taking time to understand every child's strengths, interests and individual way of communicating, we create an environment where children can flourish.

Therapeutic by Design

Therapeutic principles are woven throughout every interaction and every part of the school day.

Home-Inspired Environment

A calm, nurturing setting deliberately designed to feel safe and welcoming rather than institutional.

Focused on ASC & SLCN

Our experience, training and provision are centred around supporting children with autism and those with associated Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

Emotional Regulation

Supporting children to understand and manage their emotions through trusted, consistent relationships.

Outdoor Learning

We value learning beyond the classroom, making regular use of our outdoor spaces and the local environment for learning, exploration, movement and wellbeing.

Family Partnership

We work closely with families because the best outcomes are always achieved together.
